Welcome to Rochester Art Fair
Rochester Art Fair is a new and exciting event providing art lovers, art collectors and the local community based in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, London and the surrounding areas, with the opportunity to browse and buy beautiful, original artwork and interact directly with artists from across the UK and Europe.
Set against the lavish backdrop of the 18th Century Rochester Corn Exchange in the historic town of Rochester, Kent. The Fair showcases a wide variety of visual art including 2D and 3D works, created by both established and emerging artists.
Easy to access by car, rail and foot, Rochester Art Fair is located in the centre of the historic and culturally significant town of Rochester, packed with quaint, independent shops, restaurants and a vibrant café culture.
Brought to you by Ewa Page - artist and founder of the extremely successful Under the Rainbow Events - Rochester Art Fair provides artists with the opportunity to showcase their work, to an audience of art lovers and art collectors based in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, London and the surrounding areas.
Ewa has successfully collaborated with Bluewater and McArthurGlen Shopping & Leisure destinations over the last two years, providing large exhibitions hosting upwards of 60 creatives at a time, offering a unique opportunity to showcase the wonderful talent from the region. This has created a symbiotic art event, providing an exceptional platform for artists and a wonderful diverse, immersive exhibition for visitors of every generation to engage with.
Following feedback from loyal artistic & visitor client base, and a desire to support the growing art & cultural movement in the country and building on her ethos of supporting and collaborating with local artisan business, Ewa decided to organise the Rochester Art Fair in one of Kent's most historical and cultural towns.
Ewa loves working outside in her garden because of the direct connection it provides with nature, which is clearly evident in her final artwork. Ewa’s work is very personal, with her love of painting transferred onto each individual canvas and the colour palette reflecting her feelings and moods at the time of painting each piece.
In addition to creating her beautiful and unique artwork, Ewa came up with the concept of running an uplifting art exhibition to raise community spirits, following Lockdown. Initially intended as a once off exhibition to give local artists the opportunity to showcase their work, Under The Rainbow with Ewa as the Chair, has grown to become a successful business. The organisation now runs up to 4 large scale exhibitions a year, in popular leisure and shopping destinations.
It's important to us to collaborate with and showcase local community art initiatives. I enjoy promoting the creative talent from the younger generation, and emerging artists .I also collaborate with local charities as well as with independent businesses. This enables me to show visitors the healing power of art and promote creatives, as well as discovering talent.
