Interview
Creating designs inspired by nature using metal. I am also a photographer and stylist.
My father was an illustrator and often created cover illustration for Time Out magazine. When I left school I studied at Kent Institute of Art & Design. In recent years I have trained as an interior designer and worked as a stylist on photoshoots for editorial and commercial clients. I am an all round creative person and try my hand at anything but have a particular passion for photography. I love to paint with oils when I get time.
I used to enjoy dusting for my mum just so I could rearrange all the objet so I think the stylist was always in me. I would spend a lot of time looking at interior and garden magazines and found the 'stylists props' fascinating.
I was always drawing.
I love being immersed in/ photographing nature. I wanted to challenge myself by recreating the beauty of foliage and flowers with metal.
I have only started working with metal this year and have had positive feedback. Mostly my work is commissioned.
Nature. Art and other artists inspiring work. Being behind the lens.
That a hard material can look so delicate when manipulated.

To see someone enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed making it.
