Welcome to Folkestone Book Festival 2023. With new curators Jen Thatcher and James Harkin at the helm, Creative Folkestone Book Festival returns bigger, better and brighter than ever. We have a packed programme of incredible writers, authors, cooks, scientists, satirists, and more from around the world. From Friday 17 until Sunday 26 November, join us for a packed programme of talks, panel discussions and more this autumn.

Folkestone Book Festival returns with open arms and a welcoming space for ideas, conversation, debate, and a general celebration of the written word. Our guest speakers will discuss an incredible range of topics that will explore everything from Priests to Propaganda, Turtle Bread to Teletubbies, Seaside Towns to Social Media, and everything in between.
