About Culture in Kent

Here, creatives can show and explain what they do and culture lovers can find art, music and other cultural events taking place in the county.

Culture in Kent was created to fill a hole in the cultural life of Kent. It’s aim: to make it easy to explore and find arts and culture in Kent.
The Garden of England is a diverse county, thriving commuter towns like Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks to the west, historical cities such as Canterbury to the east, pretty villages dotted throughout, and all surrounded by trendy and quirky seaside towns along its 350 miles of coastline.
With this diversity comes a thriving arts and cultural scene with a host of exhibitions, shows and performances to be found. Until now though, finding them has not been easy! Aside from the large venues with marketing budgets to match, smaller shows and exhibitions have been difficult to track down with information spread across a host of websites, directories and newsletters. There has been no single place to the low-down on everything worth seeing in the county. Until now!

Culture in Kent aims to be the place to go to list and find cultural events across the county.

For Creatives

Culture in Kent wants to connect creatives with culture lovers across the county. The first step in increasing your exposure is to create a profile – tell the world who you are and what you do. A basic profile is free of charge. To make more of an impact a premium profile offers additional content and functionality.
Once you have created a profile you can list your events using our simple event page – no technical skills required! Again, to gain greater exposure you can choose a premium listing.

She did painting and photography work for many years when she lived in France, whilst pursuing a career in television. Since 1993, her work has appeared in a number of exhibitions and art fairs. Nathalie’s work is included in several private collections including in France, Italy and the UK.

Nathalie has over 30 year experience in project management in the media, arts and culture sector. After moving to Faversham, Kent, in 2002, she dedicated herself to the creative community and founded Kent Creative in 2009. A labour of love. She is particularly interested in promoting excellence in arts and encouraging collaborations, helping individuals and organisations connect with each other.

Nathalie no longer makes artwork. Although shee needs art in her life, she realised that she dosen’t necessarily needs to “make” art.  She says: “What I get most joy from is to work with creatives and sharing their talent.”
